Assistant Accountant

Blythe Valley

Counted Recruitment are currently recruiting for a fantastic business based at Blythe valley Business Park, near Solihull. This professional services business operates nationally and are growing quickly through acquisition. The role itself is a great step into management accounts from a junior level and duties include:

  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations of the bank accounts
  • Banking transactions
  • Sales invoices
  • Control revenue transactions, including overdue invoicing, controlling nominal strings.
  • Assisting the management accounting  with revenue across multiple sites and agaisnt budget 
  • Preparation, analysis and communication of monthly financial performance to management accountant and other key stakeholders
  • Analysis of budgets vs forecasts
  • Continuous improvement in process and procedures 

This Assistant Management Accounting role will see you support the Finance Manager and be part of a medium sized finance team with a fantastically supportive manager. The company, who are growing, have strong staff retention and are part of a larger group. The role suits a final stages AAT or early stages ACCA/CIMA studier.
